We are seeking an experienced Director of People and Business Development to join our team at Chick-fil-A Dedham, an independently owned and operated by a franchise Operator. As the Director of People and Business Development, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build capabilities, grow the business, and lead our team to success.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
•       Develop and implement strategies to build capabilities and drive growth in the business
•       Lead and manage the performance of the team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support to deliver high-quality service and achieve goals
•       Develop and implement effective employee training and development programs that promote learning and career advancement
•       Manage employee relations, including resolving conflicts and addressing complaints, and maintaining a positive and supportive work environment
•       Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs
•       Partner with other members of the management team to develop and implement business strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability
•       Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to employment and workplace safety
 
Qualifications:
 
•       Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
•       Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the fast food or hospitality industry
•       Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
•       Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective employee training and development programs
•       Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer service and satisfaction
•       Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including experience managing employee relations issues and ensuring compliance
•       Ability to analyze financial and operational data, develop strategies based on insights, and implement plans to achieve goals
•       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software
•       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
